Toronto Latviešu Pensionāru Apvienība – TLPA
Dievam, tuvākam un savai tautai

TLPA ir bezpeļņas organizācija, dibināta 1972. gadā. 1974. gadā apvienībai piešķīra privilēģijas dokumentu (Charter). Korespondencei ar valdību lietojam anglisko apvienības nosaukumu: „Latvian Senior Citizens Association in Metro Toronto”. Apvienība pārcēlās no Latviešu nama uz Latviešu Centru 1994. gadā. 

Apvienības mērķis ir veicināt biedru sabiedrisko, garīgo un kulturālo dzīvi latviskā vidē.  Pašreiz mūsu biedru skaits ir 500. Ik nedēļas apmeklētaju skaits caurmērā ir 180.

Mūsu saieti notiek reizi nedēļā, ceturtdienās. Pie Apvienības darbojas: koris „Rota”. Programmas, kas sastāv no koncertiem un referātiem.

A second home to exercise, sing, eat, play, socialize, learn and contribute. A place where they can feel independent, support each other and can make new friendships

A place where they can maintain the Latvian language and culture. A place where their spiritual and social life is enriched.

A place that can provide education and assistance regarding the laws of the land, medical care, pensions and aid in other pertinent matters.
